SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of neutralization of hydrogen sulfide in hydrocarbon media and may be used in the oil and oil refining industry for the purification of hydrogen sulfide-containing oils, gas condensate, water-oil emulsions and petroleum products. Neutralizer of hydrogen sulphide in oil, gas condensate, water-oil emulsions and oil products is described, comprising a formaldehyde-containing product, a nitrogen-containing organic base, an inorganic base, a bactericide and a solvent, wherein it further comprises glycerol and/or a non-ionic surfactant, and as the nitrogen-containing organic base, primary amines or their salts are taken, preferably monoethanolamine or diethanolamine or triethanolamine or urotropine or ammonia, as a bactericide-sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate or quaternary ammonium compounds, with the following ratio of components, mass%: formaldehyde-containing product – 40.0–60.0; nitrogen-containing organic base – 5.0–20.0; inorganic base – 0.1–1.0; sodium dimethyldithiocarbamate or quaternary ammonium compounds – 1.0–10.0; glycerin and / or non-ionic surfactant 1.0–3.0; solvent – the rest.

EFFECT: creation of a neutralizer of hydrogen sulphide, which has a high neutralizing capacity at low temperatures, required by a low pour point, improved dispersion process of the reagent in the treated oil, the ability to inhibit corrosion processes in oilfield environments and suppress the growth of sulfate-reducing bacteria with thermal stability, allowing the use of a reagent for oil refining processes, and also with the purpose of expansion of assortment of known neutralizers of hydrogen sulphide.
