SUBSTANCE: invention refers to neutralisation area of hydrogen sulphide and light mercaptans in hydrocarbon media with chemical reagents - neutralisers, and can be used in gas and oil producing industry and oil and gas processing industry. The invention refers to hydrogen sulphide neutraliser containing formaline, additionally containing lower aliphatic alcohol and/or alkylene glycol, non-ionogenic surface active substance and nitrogen containing organic base and/or alkali metal hydroxide at the following component ratio, wt %: lower aliphatic alcohol and/or alkylene glycol 5-40; non-ionogenic surface active substance 0.5-20; organic base and/or alkali metal hydroxide 0.1-20; formaline is the rest. The invention also refers to the method for refining of oil, gas condensate and their fractions, oil-water emulsions from hydrogen sulphide.

EFFECT: technological and effective reagent of complex action, which combines properties of hydrogen sulphide neutraliser and demulsifier of oil-water emulsions.
