FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used in electric motors. Stator for electric motor includes: stator core, including yoke having annular shape, and plurality of teeth, protruding from inner cylindrical surface of yoke in radial direction of stator; stator winding, wound around teeth, stator winding being configured to generate rotating magnetic field when current is applied to it; compensating winding passing in axial direction of stator at locations from inner cylindrical surface and from outer cylindrical surface of yoke. Compensating winding is wound around stator core, to pass in radial direction of stator, cross yoke at locations outside stator core in axial direction of stator and form one or more closed loops.

EFFECT: technical result is to prevent electrical corrosion of bearings in absence of conductive member connecting rotating shaft and housing together.
