SUBSTANCE: exciter for high-energy testing of cores (5) for stators of electric generators or engines that comprises one or several excitation modules, at that each excitation module contains exciting coil (1-4) and power supply source (10-13) and it is manufactured so that it can pass excitation current through exciting coil (1-4), moreover excitation current through each exciting coil (1-4) promote total excitation of the stator core (5), at that the excitation module comprises a capacitor (6-9), and power supply source (10-13) of the excitation module operates as current source at its output.

EFFECT: reduced reactive component in excitation current.
