SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the mining industry and is created to conduct drilling and blasting operations in the open development of mineral deposits in the conditions of fractured rocks of the cryolitic zone of the North. Blasting operations in fractured rocks are conducted by deck charges under a chaotic well location. Moreover, sub-drilling of wells below the bench bottom is excluded and in relation to the cracks they are located at angles of less than 90° to the direction of propagation of cracks. Charges in the wells are placed in a staggered order, and compensation for sub-drilling of wells intended for better development of the bench bottom is performed by controlling the mutual arrangement of the end sections of the wells at the level of the bench bottom.

EFFECT: as a result of the implementation of the technical solution, improvement in the quality of the development of the bench bottom during drilling and blasting operations in fractured rocks is achieved, while reducing the amount of work to drill wells in the blasting blocks.
