FIELD: measuring equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to measuring equipment and relates to a remote method for detecting vegetation areas under stress by laser excitation of the fluorescence of the plant chlorophyll and recording the fluorescence intensity. For vegetation sounding, the recording channels in the spectral ranges of 680, 690, 735 and 740 nm are used. Detection of vegetation areas under stress is judged by accomplishment of the correlations: R685/740 > N1 or/and R690/735 > N2 – the plant under stress, and – the plant in a normal state, where: , I (685 nm), I (740 nm), I (690 nm), I (690 nm) – fluorescence intensity at the corresponding wavelengths. N1, N2 – threshold values, depending on the type of a plant and the cause of stress.
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the reliability of detecting the plants stress states.
