FIELD: forestry; environmental monitoring.
SUBSTANCE: method involves preparation of samples of sprouts of tree species, shading of samples in clamping clips. Samples are irradiated with a light flux in band of 400–700 nm in a pulsed mode with controlled intensity. Wavelength-shifted light flux is received by the photodetector, the fluorescence signal is digitized with controlled sampling, forming an array of records depending on the fluorescence signal of the status categories of the visually collected samples.
EFFECT: method provides efficiency, reliability, obtaining quantitative dependence of categories of state on efficiency of conversion of radiant energy by tree depending on technogenic loads.
