FIELD: noise suppression technique.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to noise suppression. Muffler contains a body consisting of a cylindrical shell rigidly connected to the end circular plates, at least three reactive chambers are located in the body, perpendicular to the direction of the aerodynamic flow and with respect to the inlet and outlet nozzles, said chambers are formed by circular disks with holes, wherein the orifices in the discs are alternately displaced relative to the axis of the housing in such a way that the holes in the two adjacent discs do not coincide, wherein three successively connected reactive chambers are connected to the inlet hose of the housing, as well as to the combined chamber and outlet pipe, and the combination chamber is formed by an annular perforated disk and an end circular plate, which are interconnected by means of a central bushing, the inner surface of which is lined with sound absorbing material, and coaxial with a cylindrical shell, while one of the discs facing the inlet nozzle is lined with a sound-absorbing circular element, while sound-absorbing round elements are also installed on the discs with holes forming the reactive chambers.
EFFECT: technical result is the increased efficiency of noise suppression.
