SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medicine, particularly to surgery, also may be used for intraoperative detection of pancreatic tumor invasion into the vessel wall. Fluid is visualized under ultrasound control, inserted intraoperatively into the perivasal space, as close as possible to the site of suspected tumor invasion into the vessel wall. In the absence of invasion of the vessel wall by the tumor, the cellular and connective tissue layers between the vessel wall and the affected organ are filled with the administered composition. In case of the vessel wall damage, delamination between the visible edge of the tumor and the vessel wall does not occur.

EFFECT: method allows to reveal the invasion of the pancreatic tumor into the wall of the adjacent main vessel accurately and efficiently, to make the plan of operation due to the visualization of the liquid under ultrasound control, introduced intraoperatively into the perivasal space, rationally.
