FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the construction and operation of main pipelines. Technical result is achieved by the fact that in a method for marking a main pipeline, consisting of the fact, that installing markers along the length of the pipeline, in the form of plates that are found on the defectograms of the pipeline, diagnosed with the help of an in-tube flaw detector, as identification signs. These signs are pre-recorded in the technical documentation of the main pipeline. As markers, plates with through holes are used, the combination of which corresponds to a specific number. In this case, the plates are fixed in the near-weld zone before carrying out the isolation operation of the assembly seam. Plates can be with a combination of holes in the form of numbers or with slots made on their peripheral part, the number of which corresponds to the number of the pipeline section.
EFFECT: technical result of the present invention is to provide a high accuracy of marking all the assembly seams, cost reduction of marking up the pipeline, increasing the speed and accuracy of searching for the necessary (damaged) pipe.
