FIELD: pipeline in-line inspection.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for carrying out in-line inspection of the pipeline. The substance of the invention lies in the fact that the sensor carrier is configured to be installed on an in-line inspection device and has a plurality of sensors distributed around its circumference. Said plurality of sensors are ToFD ultrasonic piezoelectric transducers housed in rigid blocks, the rigid blocks being combined into two sections of an inline inspection device. In this case, piezoelectric ToFD transducers are placed on rigid blocks in the amount of four pieces per block, one piezoelectric ToFD transducer of which is a transmitter, and the other three are receivers that simultaneously receive the results of sounding one probe pulse of the transmitter, while all four piezoelectric ToFD transducers are fixed in a row on one PCS line so that the acoustic axes of all ToFD piezoelectric transducers are in the same plane.
EFFECT: improving the quality of in-line inspection.
