SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, otorhinolaryngology and radiation diagnosis. Method for diagnosing fenestral form of otosclerosis includes viewing computer tomograms (CT) of temporal bones in the mode of bone window with width W: 4,000 and level L: 700. In absence of pathological changes in the bone capsule of the labyrinth or the detection of sites suspected of demineralization, go to manual mode of changing the parameters of the bone window and perform a CT scan in the additional bone window. For it, width of the window W is selected from 850 to 900, and the window level L is selected in the range of 1,200 to 1,300.
EFFECT: method provides increased accuracy of visualization, informativeness of obtained X-ray image in this form of otosclerosis by improving the visualization of small-size foci.
