SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to otorhinolaryngology. Before performing stapedoplasty under endovideo control with a 0° endoscope, anemization of the nasal mucosa is performed. Then, a silicone microcatheter is used with a metal conductor installed inside it in the form of a wire with a diameter of 0.5 mm. In this case, the distal end of the wire is bent at an angle of 30 to 90 degrees, depending on the anatomical location of the pharyngeal orifice of the patient's auditory tube. Under endovideoscopic control, a silicone microcatheter is advanced to the pharyngeal mouth of the auditory tube. Then, when the silicone microcatheter enters the auditory tube, the metal conductor is removed. After that, the free end of the silicone microcatheter is attached to the back of the patient's nose. A 1 ml dexamethasone solution is injected into the middle ear cavity through the proximal end of a silicone microcatheter using a syringe. Then, the next day after stapedoplasty and throughout the entire postoperative period, a solution of dexamethasone in a volume of 0.4 ml is injected into the cavity of the middle ear through a silicone microcatheter in a volume of 0.4 ml twice a day. In this case, the patient is in the supine position, placing a roller under the shoulders, with the head turned 45° towards the healthy ear, remaining in this position for at least 30 minutes.

EFFECT: method allows to reduce the risk of cochleovestibular disorders in the postoperative period in patients with otosclerosis.
