SUBSTANCE: method for determining relative sizes of synchronous network clusters with complex communication topology, consisting in that fact that network node signals are removed using sensors, integrated network signal representing the additive sum of network node signals is obtained, the coefficients of wavelet transform of integrated signal are determined, the maximum values of wavelet coefficients corresponding to different synchronous clusters are determined, the frequencies of ƒi and vibratory energy |W (si, t)| of each synchronous cluster are determined by maximum values of wavelet coefficients, the size of the i-th synchronous cluster δi relative to the size of the j-th synchronous cluster is calculated, the ratio of the frequencies corresponding to synchronous clusters is calculated, the square root of the frequency ratio is taken, the ratio of vibratory energies of synchronous clusters is normalized to the square root of the frequency ratio of the clusters, indicating the relative size of the cluster.

EFFECT: extended range of technical means for determining the relative sizes of individual synchronous clusters of a complex network.
