SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the control device that is designed for use as the input device for the information processing apparatus, such as gaming device. Technical result is achieved due to the fact that the control device includes: left and right holding sections that are intended to be held by the user, on each of which the control element is provided on their upper surfaces; the central section, which is the section between the left and right holding sections; and the light emitting surface that is configured in order to emit light, which is captured by the information processing apparatus through the camera, the front surface of the central section is provided on the light emitting surface. Central section includes the site, which is situated above the radiating surface and protrudes forward more than the upper edge of the radiating surface.
EFFECT: reduced impact of light from the indoor lighting equipment on the accuracy of detecting the control device position.
