SUBSTANCE: display device comprises a display panel having a curved shape with a constant curvature in a cross-section along one axis, the radius (R) of curvature of which is more than 2000 mm, and including a display screen having a concave surface and facing the front side and a surface opposite to the display screen and facing the rear side. Herewith the display device comprises an audio output element, at least, a part of which is located on the opposite surface of the display panel at the end portion along the said axis of the display panel. In addition, the display device comprises a rear casing element having a flat surface and a backlight section located on the peripheral region of the display panel of the display panel and configured to control the brightness and/or colour and change them. The display panel has a rectangular shape and has a curved shape in cross-section in the longitudinal direction of the rectangular shape, the sound output element is disposed along two short opposite sides of the rectangular display panel and the illumination section is located in the tape region along two long opposite sides of the rectangular display panel.
EFFECT: enhancing the visual and sound presence effects, which causes the user to feel immersed in the displayed image.
