FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pulse technology and can be used in electrical and electronic devices to form voltage pulses, and can also be used in measuring technology for setting up various digital devices. Variable amplitude pulse generator contains a series-connected AC voltage source,a diode and a capacitor, connected parallel to them, whose voltage is applied to the DC voltage converter, additional storage capacitor is connected to the output of the DC voltage converter, which supplies power to the circuit of a transistor switch with a pull-up resistor, wherein in order to stabilize the amplitude of the output voltage pulse on the load resistor, feedback from the storage capacitor to the control unit of the DC voltage converter is introduced.

EFFECT: technical result consists in obtaining voltage pulses with given parameters in a wide range of stable amplitude – from zero to the maximum of the amplitude of the supply voltage and the given pulse duration.
