FIELD: jewelry industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to jewellery industry. Jewellery suspension comprises a decorative insert in form of a thin plate of mother-of-pearl, the upper part of which, having a through hole, is linked to the suspension, used to attach to a fastening element on the user. Suspension is made in form of an elongated rod-shaped element carrying in the upper part a ring for attachment to the fastening element on the user. In the lower part, outgoing from the elongated rod-shaped element perpendicular to the last pin, passed through the hole in the mother-of-pearl plate. Transverse dimensions of the portion of the elongated rod-shaped element in the communication region with the pin and the end of the pin, drawn to the other side of the mother-of-pearl plate, are larger than the transverse dimension of the through-hole in the mother-of-pearl plate. Mother-of-pearl plate on the pin is fixed with respect to the elongated rod-shaped element in the clamped state between the widened ends of the pin. In another version of the jewellery suspension, the mother-of-pearl plate is drop-shaped with an aperture. Suspension is made in the form of a flattened cap, the opposite walls of which repeat the shape of the upper part of the mother-of-pearl plate, carrying in the upper part a ring for attachment to the fastening element on the user and between the walls close to each other of which a cavity is formed for placing the upper part of the mother-of-pearl plate. Extension is made at the end of one wall of the cap, bent on the wall of the aperture of the mother-of-pearl plate towards the other wall of the cap for fixing the upper part of the mother-of-pearl plate in the cap.

EFFECT: longevity of jewellery, having developed in the area natural mother-of-pearl inserts by avoiding deformation of the upper part of the mother-of-pearl insert in the suspension.
