METHOD OF TREATMENT OF INFECTED WOUNDS Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC A61L15/26 A61M27/00

Abstract RU 2648026 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, and can be used for treatment of infected wounds. For this surgical d-bridement of wound chamber is made, its ablution, abrasion and sealing with fixation in the wound chamber drainage tube, the other end of which is connected to a vacuum source, with the provision of a vacuum exposure on mentioned cavity. Before sealing the wound chamber is filled with a semi-liquid polyurethane composition, and its polymerization is carried out to obtain a form-stable vehicle made of polyurethane foam. Sealing is performed by applying a sealing coating to the outer surface of mentioned vehicle and to a portion of the surface of healthy skin adjacent to the wound chamber. Then, in the vehicle on the coating side, a channel is made in which the end of the drainage tube is placed. Then the space around the tube at the entrance to the channel is sealed. Polyurethane composition is made by mixing polyol and isocyanate components, while a high molecular weight polyoleic oligoether polyol based on propylene oxide and ethylene oxide is used as the polyol component with the addition of water and a urethane activator. As the isocyanate component, a mixture of isomers of diphenylmethane is used, an activation additive consisting of a polyurethane chain extender, a foaming opener, a foaming agent and a foaming machine. As the activator of urethane formation, a mixture of tertiary amines and organostanic compounds is chosen at a ratio (wt. / wt.) 1: 1. Isocyanate component is used with isocyanate content of isocyanate groups of 26.0 to 32 wt. %. Components of the composition are at a certain ratio of the ingredients of the masses. h.

EFFECT: invention makes it possible to increase the effectiveness of treatment of infected wounds by the method of vacuum therapy, to shorten the time of cicatrization, to reduce the pain syndrome and the risk of complications.
