SUBSTANCE: mower head for the trimmer includes a main body and a clamping device for the trimmer line located therein. Trimmer line is held in the clamped position in the main body of the mower head, extends out through the fishing line opening in the main body and when the mowing head rotates, determines the cutting plane. Clamping device for the trimmer line comprises a clamp that is movable around the pivot pin. Axis of rotation of the pivot pin lies in a plane approximately parallel to the cutting plane. Clamp is spring-loaded by means of a rotating spring in the direction of the clamping position, in which the trimmer line is held between the clamping surface and the clamp. Pressing surface and the support of the pivot pin are made in one common part, which is a U-shaped bracket. Clamp is located between the bracket flanges. At the ends of the shelves, a swivel pin of the clamp is hingedly supported. Surface of the clip for the trimmer line is made on the bridge of the U-shaped bracket that connects the shelves.

EFFECT: mowing head for the trimmer ensures reliable fastening of the trimmer line with a long service life.
