FIELD: construction.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the technology of erecting earthquake-resistant structures. Connecting element for the seismic resistant facility modules consists of an elastic cylindrical body with flat rigid stops fixed at its ends. Body is made damping, consisting of an elastic cylindrical shell, to the ends of which flat rigid stops are attached by means of a thread, and the inner cavity is filled with a set of at least two damping disks fixed to an elastic axis coaxially disposed with the cylindrical shell, and between the damping disks at least one cylindrical helical spring is located, and the cylindrical shell inner central cavity is filled with vibration damping material, for example, polyurethane, vibration damping mastic of the "VD-17" type or with construction and installation foam.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of seismic resistance due to the spatial protection from seismic waves by introducing each unit into a single earthquake-resistant structure by means of connecting damping elements.
