Pass band configuration of sounding reference signal the SRS is changed by setting the maximum pass band value of the pass band configuration of the SRS to a value that prevents overlapping of the pass band allocated for the transmission of one or more random access channels. SRS is transmitted in accordance with the pass band from the modified SRS pass band configuration. Information regarding the configuration of the SRS pass band is provided to the user equipment (UE) by the network.
