SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of drilling and overhauling oil and gas wells and can be used in the construction of branch holes of multilateral wells from previously drilled and cased wells with preservation for operation of the original hole. Device includes a hole with a hook for a reciprocal sample of a wedge-deflector connected to a pipe string. Hook is made in the form of a pipe segment tapered from the hole, made with the ability to interact with the rotation of the pipe string around the axis with the sample of the wedge-deflector, which is made in the form of a groove on the backside of the wedge-deflector with axial dimensions exceeding the hook size and corners corresponding to the hook angles. Hole from above is equipped with a thickening made with a diameter larger than the diameter of the lateral hole and with the possibility of interacting with the upper end of the wedge-deflector to combine the hook with the sample of the wedge-deflector. Sample or the hook is equipped with a technological deepening under the spring-loaded lock of the hook or the sample respectively, which is configured to exit from the interaction with the deepening when the hook is moved downward relatively to the sample. Upper angle of the hook of the relatively perpendicular plane of the device at the top of the hook is equal to 1–5°, and the lower corner – 12.5–45°.

EFFECT: increases the reliability of the wedge-deflector extraction, the structure is simplified.
