SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to controlled directional drilling. Downhole motor includes a cardan shaft assembly including a cardan shaft housing and a cardan shaft disposed within the cardan shaft housing with possibility of rotation, wherein the cardan shaft housing has a central axis, a first end, a second end opposite to the first end, and the cardan shaft has a central axis, the first end, the second end opposite to the first end and receiving device axially projecting from the cardan shaft second end, support assembly including the support housing and spindle, which is mounted inside the support housing with possibility of rotation, wherein the support housing has a central axis, first end comprising a connector, and the second end opposite to the first end, the support spindle has a central axis coaxial with the support housing central axis, first end directly connected to the cardan shaft second end by means of a cardan joint, and the second end connected to the drill bit, wherein the support spindle first end is located inside the cardan shaft receiving device, an adjusting spindle configured to adjust the acute angle θ of deviation between the support housing central axis and the cardan shaft housing central axis, wherein the adjusting spindle has a central axis coaxial with the support housing central axis, a first end and a second end opposite to the first end, wherein the first end of the adjusting spindle is connected to the second end of the cardan shaft housing and the second end of the adjusting spindle is connected to the first end of the support housing.

EFFECT: increased service life of the downhole motor due to reduced mechanical stresses created in the engine at the given angle of inclination.
