SUBSTANCE: invention relates to means for providing card settlement service using a smart device. System comprises: a card reader performing user authentication by using a password of a user using a card and determining whether the card is a counterfeit card as a result of the user authentication, and encoding and transmitting acquired card information; a smart device generating, when receiving the encoded card information, settlement information including the card information, a settlement amount and franchise information and transmitting the generated settlement information; a relay server transferring the transmitted settlement information; and a settlement processing server processing, when receiving the settlement information, card settlement based on the card information, the settlement amount and the franchise information.
EFFECT: technical result is improved security when performing settlement services on the card using a smart device.
