FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to protection of metals against corrosion. Consumable anode comprises a first consumable metal, a second consumable metal being less electrochemically active than the first consumable metal, herewith both the first and the second consumable metals are more electrochemically active than steel, a shell material surrounding the first and the second consumable metals and including a porous mortar, and at least one elongated electrical conductor electrically connected to the anode and protruding from the shell material. Consumable anode is electrically connected to the steel reinforcement in a steel-reinforced concrete structure.
EFFECT: technical result is an increase in the service life of the consumable anode.
