FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method and device for anticorrosion protection of steel in concrete. Device contains sacrificial anode, electric field modifier and filler with ionic conductivity, installed in cavity, formed in concrete element, with sacrificial anode being directly connected with steel. Modifier includes element with side, representing anode, supporting oxidation reaction, in electronic contact with side, which represents cathode, supporting reduction reaction. Modifier cathode faces sacrificial anode and is separated from it with filler. Filler contains electrolyte, connecting sacrificial anode with modifier cathode. Modifier anode faces away from sacrificial anode. Reduction reaction on modifier cathode, in fact, includes reduction of oxygen from air.
EFFECT: provided are: increased production of current by discrete sacrificial anode and enhancement of protective effect and possibility of supplying produced current in preferable direction to improve current distribution in the process of galvanic steel protection in air-contacting elements from hardened reinforced concrete.
