METHOD OF RESTORATION OF CURRENT WHEN SATURING THE TRANSFORMER Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC H02H3/08 H02H7/45

Abstract RU 2648991 C1

FIELD: electrical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: parameters of transformer model that are subject to change during operation are to be determined in real time, which in structural scheme implementing proposed method is performed by the adaptive corrector. To synthesize the corrector and to start it in the recovery mode, it is required to specify an undistorted current for a fixed time interval. This interval occurs at the time of saturation of the transformer. Task is solved by extrapolating the process to the correct transformation interval. First, the model signal is used during the segmentation of the process, and then for extrapolation for a time after the saturation begins. Description of the structural scheme implementing this method in the microprocessor protection terminal is performed in discrete time. As an example, a linear model signal is taken. Two of its variable parameters are determined during the segmentation process. Extrapolation takes place at three discrete time points that constitute a fixed interval at the beginning of the saturation process of the transformer. In this interval, two parameters of the adaptive equalizer are determined. Output signal of the structural circuit is formed as a result of a switch of three current signals – on the interval of undistorted transformation, at a fixed interval, on the current recovery interval.

EFFECT: broader of functionality and adaptability of the method.
