FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical engineering, namely to horizontal stage chamber multiple-impeller pumps used for pumping water into oil pools and maintaining pore pressure of oil fields during oil extraction, and also as a high-pressure feed pump for steam boilers of power plants and steam-generating plants. Pump comprises at least two flow parts, each of which includes a centrifugal wheel and a guiding device. Number of vanes (x) of each impeller and the number of vanes (y) of each guiding device is determined by the sets of inequalities. In this case, the x and y values must satisfy at least one set of inequalities and make up numbers from 1 to 14.
EFFECT: invention is aimed to the creation of a pump having an increased efficiency due to eddy formation decrease caused by the action of disturbing forces and pressure pulsations; reduction of pump vibration due to the decrease of disturbing forces and pressure pulsations.
