FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture, in particular, to plant growing. Method includes the sowing of grassy plants of the bluegrass family in late terms – not earlier than the middle of July, and the preliminary summer mowing on the eve of no earlier than mid-July of perennial herbaceous plants of the bluegrass family. Final harvesting of plant raw materials is carried out after the period of achieving low positive air temperatures of 0...+12 °C for at least 1 week.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the content of carotenoids in herbaceous plants adapted to cold climate conditions.
