SUBSTANCE: method of forming an ophthalmic device comprises forming an organic semiconductor transistor on a flat substrate, deformation of a flat substrate with an organic semiconductor transistor into a three dimensionally shaped ophthalmic insert, attaching the first conductive path to an organic semiconductor transistor, formation of a sealing layer around the ophthalmic insert and the formation of an ophthalmic device, sealing the ophthalmic insert.

EFFECT: technical result is simplified production processes due to the possibility of forming organic semiconductors on substrates, such as plastics at relatively low temperatures, as well as reducing the thickness of ophthalmic devices.
