FIELD: optics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of high-resolution spectroscopy and space-time analysis of optical radiation with a complex structure and relatively rapid evolution. It can be used in scientific and applied researches of laser systems, including distributed laser data transmission systems, as well as partially coherent and unstable laser sources, in particular, with long resonators and mode synchronization. Proposed is a method for high-resolution spatial-temporal spectroscopy of complex multicomponent radiation, including recording measurements of the intensity of an input signal in real time and application of special spectral transformations using frequency-spectral analysis of the obtained spectral and spatial-temporal data for visual or automatic detection in radiation of repeating structures and their development over time.

EFFECT: method allows to separate signal components, having identical group velocity, to identify stable radiation structures of complex, and especially partially-coherent systems, in which several structures can co-exist simultaneously and move relative to each other with different group velocities, and also do this in the presence of noise with the possibility of introducing feedback on the system under study to correct its parameters.
