Device comprises a display configured to display an electronic book, a computer processor, configured to: display, using an e-book viewer, a specific page of the e-book on the display, while this particular page is displayed, determine whether the data relating to at least one application is included in this particular page, and if it is determined that said data are included in said particular page, run said application based on predetermined information indicating whether the application should be executed or not, wherein said application is separate from the e-book viewer.

EFFECT: technical result is enabling execution of a variety of applications, while displaying an e-book in the terminal.
