SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the cosmetic industry and is a cosmetic composition in the form of an oil-in-water emulsion, containing at least a polymer of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid, a copolymer of 2-acrylamido-2-methylpropane sulfonic acid and an ester of an alcohol and acrylic acid or an ester of an alcohol and a methacrylic acid, and an inulin-based hydrophobically modified amphiphilic polymer, wherein globules of said emulsion have an average size of 15 to 500 mcm, and the oil phase is present in an amount of less than 35 wt %, with respect to the total weight of the composition.
EFFECT: invention enables to obtain oil-in-water emulsions, in particular, containing giant drops, which have a light, liquid consistency, exhibit easier application, and also methods to give a freshness effect, while retaining the absence of an oily effect in relation to the skin and a soft, silky coating.
