HIGH-ANGLE BELT CONVEYOR Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC B65G15/16 B65G15/44

Abstract RU 2649836 C1

FIELD: machine building.

SUBSTANCE: steeply inclined belt conveyor contains infinitely closed load-carrying and pressing belts. Load-bearing belt runs around drive and tension drums and is equipped with corrugated sides and transverse partitions. Transverse bulkheads are made in form of grippers, which are placed on flexible element, between which are located spacers. Flexible element is made in form of steel cable and is fixed with ends on opposite edges of metal strip, transversely mounted on carrying belt. Steel cable has length greater than tape width. Grippers have cylindrical shape and axial mounting hole. Load-bearing belt is located on sliding supports. Drives load-carrying and pressure tapes are made in form of chain drives and from single electric motor.

EFFECT: operational reliability of device and its productivity are increased by eliminating adherence of transported material onto conveyor belt and transverse partitions.
