FIELD: veterinary medicine.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the treatment of bronchopneumonia in calves in technogenic provinces where environmental objects contain high levels of nickel, lead and cadmium salts. A 5% glucose solution is administered intravenously at a dose of 100 ml/head once every five days, sulfocamphocaine is administered subcutaneously at a dose of 2 ml per animal once a day, Trivit is administered intramuscularly at a dose of 2 ml per head once every 7 days for 14 days. Vermiculite from the Potanensky deposit is used as an enterosorbent in the feed ration at the rate of 0.1–0.12 g/kg body weight once a day for 14–15 days. As a chemotherapy drug Baytril is used at a dose of 2.5–2.6 ml per head once for 4–5 days. The left and right halves of the chest are alternately exposed to IR rays with a Sollux lamp once a day for 8–10 minutes for 14 days.
EFFECT: invention provides effective treatment of calves suffering from bronchopneumonia in the conditions of a natural-technogenic province, the environmental objects of which contain lead, nickel and cadmium salts in excess quantities.
