FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a recording apparatus, such as an ink jet recording apparatus. Recording apparatus includes a recording head that is disposed within the device body and which ejects the ink onto the paper; a liquid container attachment/detachment unit, which is performed the way that the liquid container containing the ink is attached/detached to/from the unit (-s) of the attachment/detachment liquid container, and which is insertable/ejected through the insertion/extraction opening provided in the housing of the device; ink supply tube that supplies the ink from the liquid container to the recording head. Ink supply tube on the side of the unit and the ink supply tube from the side of the device body, which individually form an ink supply tube, are interconnected by inserting the liquid container attachment/detachment unit through the insertion/ejection opening of the device body, and the interconnection is disconnected by removing the liquid container attachment/detachment unit through the insertion/ejection opening of the device body.
EFFECT: recording apparatus is provided, in which it is possible to supply liquid easily and without increasing the installation area of the entire device to the recording head from the liquid container located inside the housing of the device, along the liquid supply line.
