FIELD: aircraft; rocket engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft and rocket engineering and can be used primarily in the manufacture of antenna fairings for high-speed surface-to-surface missiles. Fairing includes a ceramic shell connected to an adapter by an elastic adhesive, a butt element, a support ring. Ceramic shell is made conical with a small elongation not exceeding the 1.5 one. Adjacent surfaces of the ends of the ceramic shell and the support ring are made conical, the generatrices of which are perpendicular to the generatrix of the outer surface of the ceramic shell. Beginning of the zone of the ceramic shell connection with the adapter by the adhesive is removed from the end of the ceramic shell by 1.5–2.0 of the ceramic shell thickness in its end part. Between the end of the ceramic shell and the beginning of the zone of the ceramic shell connection with the adapter an air cavity is made by reducing the adapter wall thickness 1.5–2.0 times. Thickness of the elastic adhesive layer between the end of the ceramic shell and the support ring is 0.7–1.5 of the thickness of the adhesive layer in the zone of the ceramic shell connection with the adapter.
EFFECT: technical result is increasing the temperature and force performance parameters and the reliability of missile fairings.
