FIELD: aviation.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to aircraft and rocket equipment and can be used in production of antenna cones of high-speed missiles of various classes. Disclosed is a fairing, comprising a metal adapter, connected by an elastic compound to the inner surface of the shell, with wall thickness in the connection zone, greater than in radiotransparent part of shell, made of material matched by temperature coefficient of linear expansion in specified temperature range with material of shell, and located on outer surface of tail part of adapter protruding beyond shell end, fastening annular or in the form of collars uniformly located along perimeter of sectors, in cavity of end part of connection of shell with adapter elastic shell is introduced, ratio of thickness of walls of adapter to shell in area of their connection is 0.1–0.3, according to invention minimum allowable thickness of elastic compound connecting shell with adapter is not less than 0.2 mm, and maximum exceeds minimum by 3–5 times, besides, elastic shell made of elastic compound or heat-resistant rubber is located in forebody cavity or throughout its length, wherein adapter is made solid or with through slots from elastic shell to its solid nose part, and to end of shell is connected through layer of elastic compound metal or from composite material support element, wherein adapter is connected to butt frame of fairing by means of pin or bayonet connection or with attachment ring of second compartment of rocket by means of bayonet or wedge connection, or annular collar of adapter is made in form of its butt flange in face of shell cowling.
EFFECT: technical result is providing uniformity of fairing for missiles of different classes, high bearing capacity and reliability of cowling with expansion of operating temperature range and type of operational effects.
