FIELD: weapons.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to aviation and rocketry field. It can be used in manufacturing of nose cones for high velocity missiles of "air-to-air" or "air-to-ground" class. The missile nose cone consists of ceramic jacket, connected to frame using an elastic glue. The frame consists of an adapter, made from metal, which is similar to the jacket material in linear expansion temperature coefficient, and coupling element, made from titanium. These two are interconnected using pins and ledges. The missile nose cone also contains sealing elements. The cone is also equipped with course, made from heat-resistant material, and installed so that to leave a clearance relative to external surface of ceramic jacket and the coupling element. At that, near butt ends of the course, belts are installed, manufactured from rubber-like heat-resistant material. These constitute locked air cavity. Thickness of coupling element ledge exceeds the one of jacket butt end by 1.5 - 2 times. The technical result of the invention is increase of nose cone technical characteristics improvement, which provide stable missile function at heat level value up to 300°C and its duration of up to 30 minutes during repeated flights with a carrier, and at heat level value of up to 600-700°C and its duration of 3-4 minutes in free flight.
EFFECT: improvement of technical characteristics of missile nose cone.
