SUBSTANCE: present invention relates to a method of manufacturing a coated metal strip comprising a metal strip and a coating. Method includes moving a metal strip, applying a coating material to a moving strip at a moving strip temperature of 60 °C or less, sintering the coating material at a temperature of 80 to 250 °C to form a coating film, cooling the moving strip to a surface temperature of 80 °C or less, and winding the movable metal strip. This coating comprises a polyurethane polymer comprising polycarbonate units and 5 % by weight or more of a non-volatile substance. Content of the polycarbonate units is from 10 to 80 % by weight with respect to the total polymer weight in the coating film. Coating film thickness is 0.3 mcm or more.
EFFECT: said method makes it possible to obtain coated metal strips, the coating of which can be firmly attached to the molded article made of thermoplastic polymer composition, and at the same time, excellent adhesion between the metal strip and the coating is maintained, and the likelihood of sticking is reduced.
