FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a weighing technique, in particular to a continuous weighing of bulk materials by means of a belt conveyor, and can be used in the development of continuous action on-stream flow meters and dispensers. Bulk material continuous flow weight determining method is in the mounted on a fixed support cantilever type conveyor productivity integration over the time, by which the material passing through the conveyor total mass is determined, additionally measuring the instantaneous mass on the conveyor belt mass centre coordinate, consisting of the distance from the load cell 1 to the instantaneous mass and the instantaneous mass location along the length of the conveyor belt, necessary for determining of the instantaneous mass weight and the moment of the instantaneous weight drop from the conveyor.

EFFECT: technical result is in increase of the weighing accuracy in a wide range of the bulk materials flow rates, regardless of the uneven distribution of mass across the conveyor belt and the uneven supply of bulk material.
