SUBSTANCE: invention relates to heat power engineering and can be used as a circulating water cooler at medium and large industrial facilities, including in the northern latitudes. Sectional ejection cooling tower contains a single body divided into sections by volumetric flow-form partitions and under them through airway corridors, the upper surface of which is the inclined weirs designed for basing the ejection units, from below – a continuous flooring of technological platforms, as well as a system of stairs, doors and ladders for easy maintenance of the unit. Below the technological platforms in the walls of the hull on the cooling tower contour are air intake windows, in the openings of which the drip tray units are vertically installed, the longitudinal walls of the airway corridors are open, their entrances on both sides are equipped with insulated sliding gates, the openings of the air intake windows on the outside have insulated shutters of the turning type, and in each section between the lower edges of the opposite weirs on the support grid is laid a layer of the sprinkler, and in the upper part of the cooling tower is open across the whole area and along the perimeter of its body is mounted a common exhaust channel, which has a confusable shape.
EFFECT: increasing the cooling capacity of the cooling tower in the summer, ensuring reliable operation of the cooling tower in winter, even at very low temperatures and reducing capital costs for construction.
