FIELD: heat power engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the heat power engineering and can be used as the recycled water cooler at medium and large industrial facilities. From the outside the cooling tower has housing in the form of multifaceted prism, at top passing into the pyramidal confuser and prismatic deflector. In the housing volume along its perimeter on the support structure the process platform is located. In the projection connection above it the overflow weirs are located with oriented at an inclination to the cooling tower axis ejection units. Space between the overflow weirs lower edges and the process platform is closed by the wind partition. Inside cooling tower the separating partition, diffuser and deflector form open along the entire height the exhaust channel. From the outside the dividing partition is covered by the rack with the sprinkler laid thereon. Separating partition structures are enclosed by enclosures only from diffuser to the top of sprinkler. Wind partition and rack are separated by the free space. In each of the housing faces above the process platform by two air inlet openings are made. Between them under the process platform the air intake niches are arranged. Openings of the air inlet openings and inputs into the air intake niches are equipped with the sliding gates.

EFFECT: invention allows to increase the water flow rate through the unit, increase the cooling tower cooling capacity in summer period and enable the cooling tower reliable operation in winter even at very low temperatures.
