FIELD: evaporative coolers; thermal and nuclear power stations and other industrial objects where cooling of water or other liquids is required. SUBSTANCE: cooling tower includes housing with air intake ports, water distributing collector with water-jet injectors which are mounted on platform for turning about horizontal axis symmetrically relative to axis of cooling tower; angle of inclination of injectors ensures intersection of water jet at a height of 3.5 to 5 m from level of installation of injectors; injectors are arranged in groups from 2 to 18 injectors in a group.
