FIELD: agriculture; mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural engineering, namely to devices for drying bast and other crops packed in rolls. Device for drying coils of bast cultures contains a cone for piercing a roll, a hollow cylinder with evenly spaced holes, diameter of which increases from the ends of the cylinder to the middle of its height, a control unit with humidity sensors, a drying plant, and an airway for supplying a coolant. Humidity sensors are installed in different parts of the roll in the zone with the highest material density.
EFFECT: increase in the uniformity of drying the roll in height and thickness.
