FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method for steel protection against corrosion in hydrochloric acid includes introduction of an inhibitor containing organic compounds into an aggressive medium, while an aqueous extract of celandine leaves is used as an inhibitor, which is administered in an amount of 3-6 g in terms of dry matter per litre of corrosive media.
EFFECT: increased effectiveness of corrosion protection of steel.
