SUBSTANCE: invention relates to biochemistry. Invention is an oral form of a bihormonal composition for regulating sexual hunting, primarily in cats and dogs. Two oral forms (liquid and tableted) of a low-dose agent for inhibiting the signs of sexual hunting are proposed, the active principle of which is a combination of megestrol acetate (MA) with estrogen, preferably ethinyl estradiol. Composition of invention is characterized by a specific MA content (0.01–0.09 %) and an active ingredient ratio (5–500:1, preferably 20–100:1).
EFFECT: invention allows to increase efficiency and safety in comparison with analogues.
