FIELD: metrology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metrology, in particular to flowmeters. Device comprises a channel filled with a liquid medium and signal converters for receiving sound waves generated by the liquid medium. Each sensor includes a means for measuring the speed and is placed along the channel. Device comprises a means for simulating the imposition of a plurality of sound waves as they propagate within the channel, which receives signals, assigns a variable position to the sensor signal, stores the array of time domain signals and their corresponding position variables. Herewith, the imposition simulating means is configured to process the time domain signal array for generating a phase model of the plurality of sound waves when they propagate in the above said channel and superimpose the plurality of sound waves modeled using the following wave equations: , , where Ψ – wave phase, rw – channel radius, z – horizontal position of the wave, t – time, N – wave amplitude, J0 – cylindrical Bessel function, Mcal – calibration factor, f – frequency, c – wave speed and k – wave number.
EFFECT: technical result is increased accuracy of measurements.
