FIELD: ecology.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of ecology and can be used for biomonitoring of aerosol pollution of the atmosphere by metals. Essence: collect thallomes of lichens from tree trunks, growing in anthropogenically transformed and reference (not polluted by anthropogenic emissions) zones. Then, the material is purified, ring samples are taken from the thallus from the periphery to the center, the samples are dried, ground and undergo oxidative-acid mineralization with dissolution of the mineral residue in distilled water. Spectral data is collected using atomic-emission spectrometry with inductively coupled plasma. Monitoring indicators of the study area are determined by comparing the exceedances of metal content in the lichen samples collected in the anthropogenically transformed zone with the concentration of metals in the lichen samples from the reference zone in retrospect through 5 years.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and sensitivity of biomonitoring of aerosol pollution of the atmosphere by metals.
